How many UK dwellers would be interested in one of these...



Amazon.com have them for $8.64 which is fine.  Shipping to the UK will however suck :(  but shouldn't be too painful if we can split it between us.

Could all interested please say aye below.  No commitment at this stage just want to get an idea of how much it would work out at each.

Just ran through a mock purchase and they don't deliver to Spain... So perhaps an intermediary will be required in the US or Canada?

I think a Euro group buy is a good idea...

Presently it works out at around £11.50 each delivered to their respective destinations :(

Too expensive in my opinion.  Now if we can find a friendly US member to assist that should drop the price down to around £8 each.  Which isn't as bad. Still a bit expensive for a permanent marker.

If someone in the US were to get them from Amazon and ship them over at cost, its cheaper (around £8 each delivered) but on that many pens we'd be hit by customs and the RM fee.  If we were lucky and they sneaked through it'd probably knock around £1.50 off the price per pen. Lot of ifs though  :-\

Hopefully when hey hit the UK there won't be too much of a mark-up on the US price.
