Anyone know anything about this $400 torch?

I was hoping to hear something about that one myself......

Moved this one over to the Flashlight Forum. I'm hoping somebody over here is BRIGHT enough (hehe) to tell us what it is.

(And why the hell it's worth $400!!)

That's a Surefire M6 Guardian incandescent.  There are two reasons that it is so expensive.  One is that it is a Surefire, and the quality of their products demands high prices.  The other, more important, reason is that it is a 500 lumen searchlight.  To put that into perspective, an average Luxeon III LED light that many of us are familiar with is in the range of 40-60 lumens, depending upon the power source.  A 3 D-cell Maglite outputs about 30 lumens.
