Hi All.. Nice to see so many dedicated people at the same place.. :) I'm 34 year old and struck by the LM Fever.. But I'm Glad I'm not the only one.. Proud owner of 2 kicks, one of them for edc, a PST, A super Tool, A wave, and a Swiss Tool (all of them two handed models, 'cause of the strict knifelaw here) and just got the Juice CS4 today.. Great site and the Mod Squad is fantastic...

Velkommen til MTO. I plan on visiting Copenhagen this summer. Are locking multitools legal there because I plan on taking one with me.

Thanks, And E-dog: Carrying  knives that locks along with the one handmodels is not legal :( The blade must not be over 7 cm, so bring the kick or Juice, they are both legal to carry here.. (Well, not at the pub)

Here is a google translation from the danish Leatherman website:
" Because of the tough laws we have developed unique Leatherman knives to the Danish market. Here's razor blade completely seamless, so you must use two hands to open the blade. The legal course knives are available in all the official Danish Leatherman dealers - and only from them!
This also means that one should refrain from buying Leatherman eg via foreign websites, or on holidays abroad.
You can find your nearest dealer here Danish Leatherman Find your dealer. 
Police confiscate illegal knives and you risk fines and prison
The penalty is severe, if you break Arms Act. If you discovered a public place with an illegal knife, it will be confiscated by the police, and you get a fine of 5,000 kroner if it happens again, you go directly to jail."  (5000 kroner is about 876 dolars)

And the distributor added this:
"NOTE:
One-hand knives and tools, which should come into the workshop, sent to the police because they are illegal in Denmark. The police then decide what action to take."
So nice of them to do that... :(

So all in all it's hard to belive that we were wikings once  :D

Seriously, is there a significant amount of knife related crime in Denmark?  I know the UK is supposedly getting bad, or at least the media wants it to appear that way...
