It's a knockoff... of an oddball tool... originally made by Gerber... probably in the same factory as the knockoff...

Ah ok i get  it they made a knockoff of a tool that never sold in the first place. The tool is pretty heavy i think it would be a lot like have a boat anchor on your belt and it is hard to open the tools (might break in) any how it is in the glove box of my truck in case i ever need it. But tool is made pretty heavy duty i have seen a lot worse for twice the money.
