The lock is quite cleaver as you press the Wenger logo to release it. The only problem is that as a lefty I find getting my thumb to the thumb-hole a bit tricky as the can opener partially obscures it, I tend to use my middle finger to help start to open it. It can be done but it's not as natural as it is in the right hand. I think you are in the same boat aren't you?

There's a lot of one hand openers that I really like but are too bloody awkward to use. My perfect tool would be a left handed Charge I think.Thanks for the info
