Hello everyone,

Thought it was about time I introduced myself  :salute:

I came to the UK meet with Nuphoria and seem to have rekindled my love of sharp and shiny things  ::) I did say that I would only join the forum to follow the UK meet up thread but...erm....I kinda got diverted. There's some really cool stuff on these forums!

I used to spend most of my life outdoors and so my main interest is in larger practical sharps like axes and billhooks rather than multitools. Although about 13 years ago my step dad bought himself a Leatherman and I fell in love!!! They were way out of my price range then though and by the time I could afford one my tastes had moved on *ducks to avoid missiles*...and my needs had changed. I still like a nice Leatherman but it takes something special to make me want to own a multitool now. Although I carry a Gerber Clutch in my EDC for little tasks. I was recently introduced to the Skeletool CX and now NEED one...for work obviously :D Hmmm I wonder if I could charge it to expenses :think::D

I'm mostly interested in the outdoorsy stuff and setting fire to things  >:D Currently lusting after a Gransfors Bruks axe  :drool: and a 2.5 pint Kelly/Ghillie kettle.

Well, I look forward to meeting those of you I haven't already and trying to keep my plastic in my pocket!  :cheers:

Excellent stuff....what with you staying and all.

It was great to meet you and I think we bridged some gaps if you know what I mean  :cheers:

Now, spill the beans on Nuphoria.....we need to know her bad habits like eating snot, storing chewing gum behind her ear.....you know.....all that stuff she did at the meet up  :D

All I can say is that I'm worried for my meagre collection -  she has her eyes all over it   :o

Hah! Another one snared!! :D I feel at this point i should start counting like the vampire from sesame street..... one vampire bat.......two vampire bats.....three vampire bats..... not that i'm impling in anyway you lot are vampire bats, just he has that  funny yet also quite maniacal voice :D

I love the Vampire, he rocks! I like most of the characters on sesame st, but I think the muppets have the edge :)

As for you Mike, I would never want to ruin your figure so we'll have some nice celery sticks for you instead  :D

Besides Ben & Mike , I think Hedgy & Nuphy are our first couple  8) :tu:

A bit unfair though I am always trying to get to the letter box before the misses to avoid the "another one eye roll"

You guys are going to have to sit down & work out a 'shiny' budget  :pok: :pok:. Hang on if i had to responsible , have planned spending/budget . I would have had to stop ages ago.
My condolences too you , it is nice to have a secrete vise  >:D >:D :D :D even if it means the odd eye roll (after all to most people Multitools look the same ) >:D >:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
