Found this tonight
on: May 12, 2009, 11:59:49 PM
One of my grandfather's old hunting knives!  It was in an dusty toolbox in the garage.  I've never heard of the brand "Alaskan Trapper", and my Google-fu comes up weak.  The blade stamp claims the steel is from Japan.  Has anyone heard of this brand?

I just ran it through my sharpmaker, and holy wow, this is now easily the sharpest tool I own.  I definitely need a deer this fall to try this out on!!!
