My carry today Surge & Ranger. Nowdays i dont find reason to carry Surge anymore, its big bulky tool without real advantage to other tools i have.

I can agree to big and bulky. And for someone like me, that prefer my tools to be as small as possible while still adequate, I might not have considered it if it wasn't for the t-shank adapter and how wide the jaws open. Those two little details really have the ducks line up for me.

I hardly do even 1% of the field work I used to do, but back then and the few times I still get to go out and do real work, the Surge is almost a perfect MT for some of the field work I do.
The Surge is always with me on field work if there is any chance I have to work with antennas or antenna cables.
So while I most certainly wish it was a few oz lighter, it has so much of what I need and almost nothing I don't need, in one fairly compact package. This matters quite a bit when I'm climbing antenna masts/working at height, I don't want to bring too many items. Stuffing my pockets makes it hard to find the right tool or part when I need it, and when every tool has to be tethered to my harness, reducing the number of individual tools make a lot of sense.
With a metal saw in the T-shank adapter I can cut 1/2" and 7/8" helix and corrugated coaxial cables. With the knives (I use both PE and SE for this) and the file I have all the implements I need to prep the cable end for a new connector and matched with a Knipex cobra plier I can secure and seal the new connector.

Back down on deck/solid ground I typically pair it with a handful of dedicated tools (e.g. 2.5mm and 3.5mm 1000V slotted, side cutter and a soldering iron), a pocket sized ratchet driver and a LM crunch, and that pretty much takes care of anything I may run into. Air travel with this tool kit is a breeze compared to what I used to bring before I had it refined down to my current kit.
Some places, like the UK, don't allow knives offshore, so I still need to go back to an older version of my kit from time to time - but thankfully not very often.
