Here because of another MT.org member?

I was thinking if anyone here joined as a direct result of being shown or told about MT.org from a member.

Not me.. i joined after finding this site while searching for info on a Gerber multitool. I told my dad and my boss about it but so far they haven't joined. Guess it takes a certain type to appreciate good people and good tools.

Hmmm, Def might have mentioned it over at Knifeforums.com back in 2006. Might be why I joined. Good question though.

Good question, I think I saw a reference to here over on SOSAK and joined up. It did take a while from first joining to becoming a regular poster though.

I was looking at the Skeletools if I remember correctly and stumbled in. ll I had on me at the time was a Sideclip.....then all of a sudden the PST's started coming in the mail.

I think I got here by way of Wikipedia. After picking up the Blast, was researching the history of the tools sand found a link here. Once I saw that the forum was fool of stars and decided hey should have sent a poet, I signed up.

Googled my way up here. Well, the mainsite that is but ended up at the forum.

You guys and girls give me a little more faith in the "spending-money-with-people-I-never-have-seen-in-my-live-from-the-other-side-of-the-planet" (EDCdepot for example) thing. And when I think about it, this forum is about the only place from where I'll take advise and trust when buying new toys and gadgets. Thanks
