Thanks David, they’re a pretty good slicer too. The M4 doesn’t tarnish as much as I thought it might either.

My local knife store had a used original Bradley for peanuts on the website. It was out of stock. Wish I'd known earlier. I love the blade shape and the M4 steel.

Spyderco Native 5 base model; ComboEdge CPM-S35VN. It's a second I bought earlier this month direct from Spyderco for $35 (couldn't afford $105 street price); but the problem is just cosmetic--somewhat crooked milling of the thumb ramp. It is a lightweight tank. I had to cut some hardwood trying to make a temporary post to prop up a messed up fence, and the ergonomics of this knife were just perfect. To some, CPM-S35VN is a rather pedestrian steel; but given my "best" knives beforehand were ATS-34 and 154-CM; it is the best steel I currently have. It is highly resistant to chipping, decently wear-resistant, and not as hard to sharpen as D2. \

I got stuck with the Combo Edge blade (I wanted PE), as the other variants of the Native 5 had sold out by the time I was able to add a knife to my cart, but I quite like the serrations used.
