jacktrades, Gareth, lovely Peanuts.  :tu:  I haven't carried mine in a while.....  Today I went with my Case 3207CV mini Trapper again.  It's my favorite slippie, I admit it.  :)
There's no such thing as "Too pretty to carry".  There's only "Too pretty NOT to carry"...... >:D

I was travelling to a 3" blade restricted city today so the Kershaw Cryo got the call to action.

I've never owned one of their AO knives but have played with one in a knife store and they're terribly fun to flick open :D

Yup! I can get "normal" knives opened very quick with the thumb studs. This one is almost instantaneous!

Loving the patina on the CV blades.  :tu:

+1, that looks really nice!

That really does look good

I removed the pitiable from my case electrician because it didn't look right at  all.

I use d mustard.
 French's mustard to be exact
I probably didn't do it right.

Looking at your knife makes me want to try again.

that peanut has gotten dark from all that carry and use over a few years, also the patina was not forced in anyway, just helped with cutting fruits and such.
Anyway, that dark it became a few days ago, when i put the whole knife in a mix of strong brewed coffee and instant coffee, and left it there for hours. After, i left it in mineral oil for another 10 hours or so. That was done to darken a bit the other side of the scales, and the patina as it shows its a side effect :D
this is how the other side looks now

a bit darker than before, not as dark as the first one, which has gotten even more dark.

This is how it was when i bought it

This is how it was after a few years

And how it is now, it's those recent photos after it had its coffee.
It's in my pocket as i write this.

I just realized a couple things.

First my old man had good taste in knives

Second I'm almost positive that this is the knife that started my love for serrated blades.
