Sorry guys. Been real busy lately. I am hoping to get a review up Monday or Tuesday.

I find it is better to use something new for a while before trying to review it. Sometimes your first impressions can change a lot after a while. Heck I use to think Higgs was smart.  :pok:

Used the Sebenza to cut some rope today while tying down some stuff in the back of a pickup.  :tu:

I have been carrying it for a few days now, but I will hold off on my thoughts of it as of now until I get some pics and do a review.

Initial impressions where good. I love the look. The angle at the back of the handle is a bit uncomfortable in the palm of the hand. Action is good, but not as "smooth" (I use the term loosely) as I expected. I will explain more about this in the review. Some people complain about the thumb stud and detent making it hard to open the blade, but I did not find this a problem at all. Fit and finish is great as expected. That's all you guys get for now until I do a review.  :D

It's also one of the coolest gifts I've ever gotten.

I got it From a very good friend.

Nice Benchmade Joel :tu:. That is one heck of a gift! Love the shape of that blade, plus BM's 154CM steel is fantastic.

I went with my BM 940 today, tough little knife but it's due for a good sharpening.

Last night I took a look at my folders, looking for a "new" one to carry. I found knives I had forgot about (which is nice). I decided to take the Browning Prism II. The blade was a little off-center and had some play so I fixed that and took it out for some light work. Already prepared my breakfast with it.

Thanks Mary Ann & Capt! I used to heavily favor PE blade knives too... not so much anymore. My CE Benchmades sure have proven themselves useful recently.

And that Sebenza sure is a beauty Capt  :dd:
