A day on the farm

I have a couple days' of vacation, just working around the farm.  Today I had a series of projects, transplanting peppers, picking strawberries, a bit of weeding and then there was the concrete project.

The concrete project involved putting a form around a post on the gardening building, and pouring concrete, to protect the post from tractor hits (there are a couple dents in it already  :o)

So, first off, I had to cut the form to get it around the post.  Out came the S557.  Heavy cardboard tube, 4 feet long.  After getting the form on the post, I had to dig out around the post, but I needed something to hold the form out of the way... :think:

I've got it!



Ok, I agree, the awl is definitely a must.  :tu:

I almost forgot the cross thread appeal:

Before pouring the concrete, I had to do something to keep the form together:  Duct tape  :D

Of course you could just learn to drive the tractor without bumping into stuff :P :D
