That is very true but I think I would feel the same way about any kid to be honest... it's an escape weekend for me, to chill out with the boys and say/do what I like. Don't need a reason to be policed  :police:

We never really resolved this one folks.  It was brought to my attention that this is on at about the time-frame we were talking about and seems to be in Nick's neck of the woods.  19th-20th September BTW.

Any thoughts as to maybe doing a meet-up and visit?

I'm gutted I'm going to be missing this.  Take lots of pics so I know what I missed.

If I get back from NZ at a sensible time next year I'll drop along to a meet hopefully.

Sound's interesting :)

I very much doubt I'll be able to make it as my chaffuer Ben will be on Midwife duties, and it'll just take too long to come on the train, and with a load of camping gear + bicycle, tools ect I'll be knackered before I get there :-\

I hope you lot still go though :)
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

Hmm... not sure the whole game thing is of interest to me, so it's a fair few quid just for the shiny bit!

Bumbt ;)

OK, well I'd be up for the show but its just an idea.  Are we still OK for a meet-up at Area 51?   Either that weekend or thereabouts?

Provisionally yes, although I really have to run it by my wife and she's gone to bed.  I'd likely be traveling down on that morning (setting off early) so I'd not likely be in the area before 1-2pm.
