Hi All,

New member from Australia. I am a mobile service technician and have decided to get a MT as i am sick of trips back to the car for something
as simple as a screwdriver and i am over dragging a toolbox around constantly. I dont know why i hadnt considered a MT before? Been researching and ended up here. If you told me yesterday there were forums on multitools i would never have believed you ha! The idea of owning multiple multi tools seems like a contradiction in terms to me, but you learn something new every day. Great site by the way. I am looking at a Surge but refuse to pay the ridiculous markup down here. The RRP on what is a US 75 buck tool is criminal. So i think i might go for a good near new as i still dont know if i am going to use it as much as i think. Even after postage i will still be much better off.

Anyway i thought it polite to introduce myself before trying to pillage the classifieds.

PS If anyone has a good Surge they want to get rid of send me a price shipped to Oz(preferably nylon sheath) and we can go from there. If not i might go with new from eleatherman. Thanks.

Welcome fellow aussie. I might have a spare Surge to sell you, pm me re how much you were thinking of spending. I have a almost new Surge I was planning to put on OZ Ebay to raise $ to buy another Leatherman :D :D

Hey Mat, PM me if you like and we may be able to work something out. I have talked to another member about price as well and i have a couple of online prices for a brand spanker so i am sure i will have my Surge sooner rather than later! Now i am looking at bloody torches! This place has given me more excuses to spend cash. Yikes.
