Swisstool plier head breaking..

Not sure if I missed reading something on this forum, I did a search and can't find a thread about Swisstool plier heads breaking.. Are they that tough?! :D

It can happen, but it's very rare :)

I think the Swisstool plierheads, like the swiss blades, are a softer steel then the LMs, SOGs, etc, and thus they tend to bend ever so slightly and not break.  Sure they will eventually break, and I'm sure there are many more that haven't posted a picture, but it's probably why a broken SwissTool is very rare.

I really haven't broken a plier head besides a SURGE and that slipped QC. I find that SwissTool plier heads eventually get a lot of pivot play which really bugs me!

I'd hope not as as a test that wouldn't prove anything.

Oh, and although there are more of one brand sales figures will play a huge part in that.

I've never tried to break mine, and very much doubt I could without a truly stupid level of abuse :)
