What have I done?
on: September 16, 2006, 03:39:24 AM
Starting this site might have been a bad idea.  I was going through a phase (least I hope it's a phase) where I needed to get a bunch of multis... well, it's getting more and more serious...
I currently have about half a dozen tools on the way to me, with probably close to that number next in line.  In the last month I've picked up probably at least that number- more if you count the extra Gerber Clutches I bought to sell or trade.  Oh, and the Micras that I got from Tim...
My name is Def and I'm a plier-aholic...

 >:DAs with SAKs, becoming a MUlti dealer has the advantage that I get to play with all the neat toys when they come in and decide which ones I want. >:D

Ugh... I'm only up to 3 in the last week. I feel like such a disgrace.

I've only picked up two new multi's since I joined which isn't that bad. I did finally get a leatherman folding knife which is pretty cool.

I have to say that I am glad to see that I am not alone....  Maybe we should start a plier support group?  That would be cool, we could have meetings and share stories and get Leatherman to make us a specific model and have our names engraved on them... oops, that wouldn't really help now would it? :P

I've been staying away so I don't become a Plier-holic.  I must say though, I'm impressed with the way the site has taken off--good job Def.

It's all I can do to stop myself from buying SAKs and flashlights right now.  I don't need another habit.

Speaking of flashlights....  I would really like to try out the new Vic 2 C-cell model.  I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but I'm close to it.

C-cell models are nice to have in emergency situations, as the C-cell batteries are usually the last ones cleared from the isles at the stores (AA and D being the first).

But, I suppose this is a discussion for the "gadget freaks" forum.
