I didn't want to rummage around the shed tonight for one of those wheel thingys you use to put a window screen in the metal frame. So I used the back of the can opener of my LM Pulse. Worked like a charm.

Stripping some flex today with my CT 41 it works great for flex, coax or twin and earth  :tu: using the main blade, small one open and out of the way.all you do is rotate the cable you want to strip toward the tang, use only the blades spring pressure for this purpose, with practice you can do away with some other wire strippers that can either not be at hand or through experience you've loaned it out and it's GONE  :ahhh

igniter for the grill died today so the spirit was put to good use as a nice long handle for poking a match in, worked a treat   :tu:

OK, being picky here as I am in a picky mood.  :P

How can you say that is 10/10?  Not exactly the easiest to use is it?  A dedicated extra comfy to use bit driver would be my 10/10 but that?

I've finished being picky now.  :D

Resurrection:

So, on Fri (I think) I created the OH Locksmith.  Sat morning, Mrs. Whippy and I began work demolishing a wall damaged by water and replacing it with 2 windows and reframing.  The damage went up to the roof line.  Finished Sunday evening.

Used the OH Locksmith extensively as a keyhole saw, to file through nails before snapping them off with a hammer in the old exterior sheathing and the mainblade for trimming the plastic flashing around the new windows.  Ended up with a few scars on the scales, and needed to sharpen the main blade, but overall, I'd rate it 8/10 as utility tool.

BTW, I used a Husky box cutter to score drywall, rather than the mainblade.  Just seemed to be the right way to go.

Good call on not using the SAK for the drywall, that stuff really dulls any knife in seconds.

Used the Vic Spirit to strip down a Mac 700 Spot to day as the power modual didn't seem to be working.  The ratched set was perfect not only by having all the torx and allen heads necessary but also being able to get into  all the awkward bolts where a long handle driver wouldn't reach  :tu:

Spirit 10/10

Unfortunately the power module was a bit further gone than I expected as when I swapped it into a different unit to prove the fault it exploded,  :-\ violently causing an as yet unknow amount of damage that I will be investigating tomorrow  :-X

That's a funky looking bit of kit.  I think if I came across it above a darkened auditorium I'd ask if it wanted to be taken to my leader  :ahhh ;)
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

nothing flashy but i used the spirit PE blade to cut the end off a tube of fire caulk to seal an electrical penetration to pass a rough inspection.
later i used the SE blade to shorten the disconnect rope for 2 garage doors on another home. both blades did very well. i am not carring a SAK lately to force myself to use the spirit wherever possible. no complaints so far.

Used the Wave to finish tearing up crates, etc., to feed the nice big fire I had going in the improvised burn cage I put together.  (Another Wave project.)

Alas, no pictures.  I didn't have time, as I didn't have the help that I thought I would....

Went to the range to shoot my  black powder rifle at today. Used my Spartan to cut my shooting patches at the muzzle did a great job. Had a good time. Getting ready to go night fishing for Catfish right now. Hopefully i will have some fish to clean. I love catfish and eggs in the morning.

I havent been catfishing in a long time. I use to like fishing for big flat heads. Its like hooking on to a freight train. I didnt catch a big one very often but it sure was exciting when it happened. Mike 56 hope you catch some good ones.

Used the SwissTool to help with some basic breakdown and clean-up work.  (I'm setting up another nice "Let's burn everything!" event.   >:D)

Just used my Wenger Traveller to do some surgery on an apple for dessert this evening.  I think it (or one of its SAK brethren) might just do some dissection work on a peach later for the evening snack...   :D
