I used my blast to pull a shard of metal out of my tire today.  I spent the next 20 minutes trying to line up the reamer in the hole, as it was at a pretty good angle and I couldn't get the plug in.  My new gerber hatchet came in quite handy as a hammer to push the reamer thru the hole.  Plugged and holding air now!

My Blast with the bit driver attached was the champ of some Irene cleanup tonight. I used it to dismantle some shelving and a display case, as well as some waterlogged furniture that had to be broken down.

I sure hope no MT's got wet.  :(

The scissor spring on my PS4 broke today so I decided to replace the scissors with a cut down key. I used the VIC Mountaineers metal file to ground the key down. A little SAK on Multi violence.  >:D Now I just hav to choose a mini flashlight to go with this mini keychain setup, maybe the DQG?

It's a new Sports 400 Gerber I received yesterday and the blade nick was on the inside.I was going to swap the blade to the other side but it wouldn't clear the retractable pliers so it went back in the original
position.I guess I can live with it.

Why don't you send it in to Gerber for some warranty work?

I had a flat tire yesterday, I used my blast to pull the shard of metal out of the tire, and my LM C33X to cut the plug flush once it was installed.  All in all, a very hot and sweaty job considering the ridiculous heat and the stupid angle of the hole.  I couldn't for the life of me get the darn reamer to go in, and once I did, the plug just didn't want to go either.  At least I was able to repair the tire, couldn't have done it without my Leatherman!

I used the same blast today to pull a bunch of packing staples out of a huge box.  One of them caught my finger and now I have a nice chunk missing.

I then used the blast again to grip a stubborn bolt on a grille guard (no sockets or wrenches in reach) and loosened it enough to remove it by hand.

From what I read they all are coming like that.No problem opening the blade so I will live with it.

O alright I thought it was a defect. If it is not a big deal than I would leave it as well.

I thought the headphones connector on my smartphone was broken but it turned out there was just some fluff (?) from my jeans stuck inside :D
My Vic Classic's toothpick took care of it :)

I just used a Crunch to remove that safety strip of metal which covers the flint on a new bic lighter.

I don't have kids, just a dog, and if he is smart enough to get that thing lit without thumbs, I reckon he is smart enough not to burn the house down :D

Well I was extremely bored and my pain med's are making me feel very loopy so I made a little stand out of paper clips for this slice of rock I have. It was made very quick and with not very much precision. Thank you Super Tool.

Thanks but all I did was rip off the scales so far lol. While the skeletonized frame looks pretty cool on one side, it looks very mismatched on the other. Particularly the handle where the corkscrew resides because, well, there are no cut-outs whatsoever. So you have three handles faces with cut-outs and one without. Never had any other Juice model, so, I cannot tell you how this compares. Jacking it up beyond the point of no return kinda forces me to mod it now. Anyway, most around these parts know that I couldn't possibly stop there. ;) Come to think of it, the uneven thickness of the handles on this model always dig bug me.....
