My Surge took a couple parts off of the digital press so I could clear out a sheet of paper that was very much where it didn't belong.
On my lunch I filed down the kick on a couple proud blades of my Böker carver with the diamond file on the Surge.
Oh and I used the sewing eye on my SAK Explorer awl to thread the twine back through the balk on my son's paddle ball.

All in all a good multitool day.

I used my vic classics knife to cut the adhesive tape, I use to put on the folder to tape the information page at the front for the construction file.

Used my Swisstool to repair my sons bike , the wheel nuts had come loose and the chair had come off.
The Swisstool pliers did a fine job on the wheel nuts.

Back at my in-laws, I was putting together a guest bed that they bought at Ikea.  ST300 provided a blade to open all the packaging, phillips and flat drivers, hex bit w/ adapter, pliers, and even pounded in little plastic dowels.  No pictures, but I did have a nice chat with my father-in-law about why he needs one  ;)

Riding by bike home from work earlier, one of the pedals nearly fell off! >:( The nut holding the arm to the bike had worked itself almost completely off.  My MP600's pliers got it tight enough to make it home and to a socket set. :tu:

Used my Wave a million times opening boxes and assembling a Canon copier. Those machines have way to many pieces.

I used the nail file on my Vic Executive yesterday evening to file down some mold flashing where the parts were cut from the parts trees on an RC truck with my son last night. Shock pistons with flashing = fail.

I find myself using nail files for plastics and soft metals more than fingernails. (or toenails, hehehe)

You know that thing where every now and then you get a call from a friend in need, and have to go help do a crappy job?

My friends' house got flooded with about 6" of water in their basement from a recent heavy rain. We had to go help with the clean-up. The floor was covered in about a quarter inch of silt and maybe a hundred pounds of leaves. Most of the work was sweeping and mopping, but my Explorer got a good workout, including...

Cutting open packages of new mops, rubber gloves, etc. Cutting a garden hose. Using the hook to pull up the drain cover to get the last of the nasty washed down the drain. The scissor blades then got to help remove mud from under my fingernails. Once cleaned up, the small blade got to help open a sushi package.

And... the philips helped tighten up a loose armrest on my friends' chair while we enjoyed some adult beverages for a job well done.

I used my Swiss Tool Spirit X to put a grill together for the weekend festivities. Rebar did help a little in the action too.

I noticed my apple tree was starting to buckle on certain branches under the weight of the still forming apples. It's not a huge crop, just a fairly young tree. I grabbed some string and some soft coated gardening wire to tie all the branches in so they are helping to support each other. I don't know how well this will go as there's still a couple of months till they're liable to be ready, and this is the first time the tree has had fruit (only four years old).

It was a Sideclip that cut the wire and string
