Helping cleaning up my daughters kindergarten before the autumn.
Needed to use the hose to clean up the outside toys. The key to the water outlet was nowhere to be found. My LM Wave saved the day by grabbing that square thing to open the water outlet. It was probably on the limit since it was probably months ago since that water outlet was used but the Wave delivered as always.

Task: Remove cover so I could change a lightbulb.

Tool: New model Surge.

Performance: Well it wasn't easy but the trusty Surge was able to handle two flat head screws without any issues. Was touch and go there for a while.

Cut some indoor / outdoor carpet with the serrated blade on my Rebar and installed a new Toilet seat with the big flathead on my Core.

Used my Spirit's blade and chisel to scrape some epoxy resin from a solenoid coil assembly, then used the pliers and flat driver to re-fit a circlip to hold the coil in place.  Scissors to snip some cable ties.  Used the blade and scissors to help pack some parcels, then used the blade to cut kiwi fruit for lunch. :tu:

If you have a used Spartan or Tinker, maybe think about offering it to her.

The whole 'not prying with a blade' thing is the first and foremost selling point of any 91mm SAK to me.

As for what I used my MT for today?

I used my Vic Explorer's flathead driver to pull out the scissors from a rusted Leatherman Wave in a pawn shop. I then used the Wave (that I purchased at that pawnshop) to snip the zip tie on a power cord on a saws-all (that I also got at a pawn shop) and straighten a bent wood saw blade on it.

Used my Squirt to tighten a phillips screw on the bottom of a school bus seat.
can't do that with my wenger nail clip AT. I need a new EDC with no blade for school, and more functions

Fine tune and install robotic end of arm tooling, here cutting and trimming hoses and zip ties so that there are no loose ends that can be caught when the robot moves fast in 6 axes.

Inside the trash compactor again.

loosened some screws on the motor wiring compartment. I quite like these screws that some European companies are using lately: they have Torx, and a slot for a flat head screwdriver. So if one has the right tool, (Torx) it's very easy. If not, everyone has a large flat head, right? Except me. I had my Compact, so only had a medium flat head. But one end of it gripped a Torx lobe OK, and the other end was in the slot. I managed to do this without slipping or busting my knuckles, which I consider a minor miracle with the junky combo tool flat head:

Removed some Phillips' to take off the back cover:

...and punched an extra hole in a belt with the reamer:

MT was a modded Vic Compact; hook and corkscrew were replaced with Phillips and the reamer.

Today was my first day back at work after my hols so my work surge and bit kit were out to play after a few weeks in the dark recesses of my locker.
Used the surge with philips and hex bits to strip out and replace 3 solenoids for the backwash system on the water treatment plant. Then the bit extension with security torx to replace the main control unit for the pyrometers on the rolling mill.
Also in the same substation as the pyro controller I came across a small packing crate with the lid screwed down, so the surge was out again so I could be nosey and see what was inside, then close it back up like I was never there. It was boring though, just a lead plate for the gamma source shutter that's used for thickness detection on our steel plates.
The surge is goooooood, oh so goooooood ☺

Now I'm doing a tool test to see which bottle opener is best for Stella cidre bottles. The competitors are all leatherman, surge, charge, wave, squirt and juice.  It's all in the name of science ya know

Used my Wingman to open the clamshell packaging of another multi-tool(Rebar), all recursive like.

I have also got in the habit of using the Wingman medium flat screwdriver to open stubborn pistachio shells where there is just a line but not a full opening.

The pointed nail file of the VIC Cadet and the pliers on the VIC DeLuxe Tinker to remove a sim
card from the insane locking system of an old Nokia.

Yes, I know.

It's somewhat hard to believe       :D

And to fix a cabinet door that managed to fall off somehow.

SP2 got to help me put some molding around my basement door. Pliers used to pull old nails out of door frame. Used the file to remove enough material to allow a piece of molding to fit that was just a millimeter or two to long. Used the knife to make a piece fit that was more than a few millimeters too long ;)
