Poor Picture...

...but it was a real treat looking out the window of a 767 while I drooled over the Kennedy Space Center. The 'blueness' was due to the double windows and an 'auto fix' on photobucket.

It was the only time 2 Shuttles have been on the pads A&B together. I got to see Atlantis launch on May 11 (wonderful day!) and as you may know Endeavour got moved to the other launchpad [39a] and lifted off just a day/night ago.

Awesome shot Paul! :tu: Ironic how small the vehicle assembly building is in your photo though. In reality that thing is huge! It absolutely dominates the skyline when traveling along on nearby highway 1. 8)

Course, it was built to house the massive Saturn 5 that went to the Moon 40 years ago exactly!.....Geez, was it really that long ago??

We have a festival going on here in town this weekend for the 40th anniversary.  Both downtown and out at the Neil Armstrong  Space Museum(hometown Boy).

Enjoy the festival WH867, they don't seem  make em' like Neil anymore.

Hope the museum survives - keep us informed. I'd enjoy looking at some pics of the festival if at all possible??? ;)
