Never having owned a Buck 110 before, I finally picked up a 110 Pro for the upcoming Fools of April challenge.  I'll spare you all my mediocre photography skills for now, but the thing just feels almost bullet-proof with nickel silver bolsters and black G-10 scales with exposed rivets.  Buck nailed the texture on the G-10 as well; it is grippy without being pocket-shredding.  And, perhaps most importantly, Bos heat-treated S30V, all for $99.  Definitely worth the price of admission...

Sounds like a good bargain!  I had good fun doing the Ranger challenge, and no doubt this is going to be a fun one as well!

Thanks, mate!  Had the 110-out for some routine cleaning, and maintenance.

Looks great! How do you get the bolsters to be that shinny?

Is my Buck 110 genuine?

When in open locked position the lock back is very hard to press and release. I have to press the lock back release on something hard like the edge of a table. I already applied oil on all pivoting and moving parts but still very hard to close.  This is new and I carried this a few times only but not used.

Certainly looks genuine , it’s a 2015 model. Looks like in one of the photos the lock bar has had some file work done on it , Maybe this has something to do with the stiff lock

Just got this back from a Buck Spa treatment and blade replacement. Came out much better than expected. It was a beat to crap, bottom feeding Ebay purchase that sat around for over a year before I decided  to spend $10 bucks and sent it to the spa.

Best part about it was the turn around. 16 days from the day I mailed it, I had it back. Impressive!
