Here's Nutnfancy's Review of the ST300

Interesting that he mentioned about the machining and casting issues...he probably came across Chako's review about it :)

Agreed. And agreed !

Who was it that sawed the cow-horn? I remember it being posted, but not who posted it

And that Dura-coated Charge is wicked!

Don't get me wrong, I dig the guy's videos. Just spent a couple hours watching them this morning in fact. But we all know damn well that he watches this forum and I'm sure plenty others. I'd really like to see him clear up that "I don't follow the forums" comment, as it kinda makes him out to be full of it.

Gotta say, even having never handled one, I pretty much agree with his ST 300 review. He backed up all the impressions I already had of it. Didn't know it didn't have scissors though, that kinda kills it for me. Although I would never even consider EDCing one, I'm pretty sure that if I ever decide I need to get another "beat the Hell out of it" heavy duty abuse sponge of a tool to replace the Surge I gave away, that the ST300 will be that tool.

His reviews are decent but he's too wordy for me. I can't take more than 5 minutes of the guy.

Over 23 minutes!  Sorry but if you can't say it all in under 10 then you're waffling.

OK I listened to some of it and got bored, he does waffle and gets himself side tracked to much.  He want scissors and OHO blade does he?  What he wants is a Surge not a Supertool. ::)

I have to agree.  I get the impression he likes to hear himself talk.  He does informative videos but I think he could get the same points across in a lot less time.

Lol, his videos (and others' to be fair) just get longer and longer and longer and longer and longer...

Kinda wish youtube didn't remove the 10 minute limit.

You have to be a charter member to post video's over 10 minutes.  I forget the criteria, number of subscribers, number of views, number of videos, all of that combined.  Something along those lines.

My attention span did not permit me to continue past the first couple minutes. I could read a review at a better pace.
