Swisschamp Cyberlite
on: June 13, 2016, 05:42:44 PM
Hey guys, I hope this makes a good first post!

I am a machinist/fabricator at Georgia Tech in the school of Mechanical Engineering, and, obviously, have a love of mechanical things. I have been lurking for a while and have been bitten by the Victorinox/SAK bug. I have a Swisstool RS with custom finger clearance, a Swisstool Spirit CS Plus, and had a standard Swisschamp before. I really wished it had the cybertool driver, double knife layer, and maybe even a flashlight. So, after much learning, I finally got it together with 2-56 screws and re-used the original brass washers. It comes in at 44mm wide. Let me know what you think!

Looks good mate! :tu: Whats your reasoning behind two knives? one dirty, one clean?

Also, have you considered turning one of the backside awls into a marlin spike? all it would require is taking the edge off one awl

Thanks! I wanted dual knives because the first time I cut a tapeline on sheetrock it dulled my previous knife. And also, because "Swiss Army Knife"! :) That's a good idea about the spike. I'll save it for the next one.

I'm torn about the scales. The stayglows are more grippy and unique, but the red cellidor is just so classy, plus a pen.
