Looks like a pretty interesting tool for any AR owners out there.  I've got one ordered, and I'll do a write up on it when it comes in.

Granted it's very cool,  but a tad steep on price.

I definitely agree with you there...

Mine just showed up the other day.  It's a pretty interesting device, but it doesn't fit in the grip I have on my AR :(  Guess I'll have to buy a new grip :D

An interesting concept. Neat. I like that idea way better than the AR Combo Tool multitool :)

In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

While the Samson is an interesting concept... it's probably useless for 90% of the people that own AR's... it really is a field tool, so unless your in the military, or something like that ;) , you probably won't have any need for it.

Wow... I just watched the video.  That things HUGE!  If your gun jams... just hit em with the combo tool!  4" by 2" and weighs just over a pound...

I also recently found myself hunting for a multi-tool that was outside the box but fit the bill. Take a look at a review I did on this option. http://m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=32713
My dad has one of the samson field survivor. I havent had a chance to run it through its paces, though I dont have a stock grip. I've got a magpul MIAD which carries an extra bolt/firing pin. I'll be glad to post the review here in full if theres interest.
