hello peeps

First I will say I got this within the UK after all I had no idea what our customs

would make of the OTF PEN!!!!

LOL

Anyway I know you're all dying to find out what I think? well you'll have to wait until tomorrow dudes I'm a little tired right now

Not exactly.

My cat keeps waking me up at 5 AM to open the windows and doors.

I am in the process of reconditioning my cat's desired to wake his servant up at such an ungodly hour. I threw some blankets his way this morning, and that got me an extra 20 minutes of sleep. If he doesn't get the hint, water pistols will be my next and final method. I know from the past, water pistols work well.

Yawn.

Just one thing that puzzles me a little with all the tools this mini has,the tooth pick came loose in the box

I can live with that small detail tho

Yes it's small but big on implements

The screwdriver has magnetic end very handy for those fiddly little screws,built into that there's also a cap lifter I must say it's very high quality

tho I'm not sure whether the so called wire stripper can actually strip wire?( answer NO!)

should it be called a wire bender perhaps?

Look at the cute little scissors they may be small but they work very well as most SAK scissors do

I really like the OTF pen set up but be careful not to show it off in public to much,you may have some explaining to do

I find it best to use it with the nail cleaner extended as per instructions

Has two main blades one they call a letter opener AKA emergency knife this one is razor sharp(it's the bottom one) my guess is tho either blade could be used in an emergency ie dispatching leaches should you need to

Oh interestingly the orange peeler work very well but as I just usually rip them apart with my bare hands,well oranges aren't coconuts are they

It can however be used to cut string and use as a box cutter,you can see it has two cutting areas one inside the hook the other is what you may call a scrapper but it's very sharp so opening packages should be no problem at all

Well guys what do you think? I really love this little puppy it's very well made and has lots of useful tools(for me anyway) it's going to live on my keys so I will always have a SAK wherever I go

The reason why the toothpick comes loose in the box is so users can decide as to whether they'd like to pair the toothpick or the tweezers with the retractable pen.

Likewise, the wire stripper is to capture the wire in place, while you use the blade on that side to slice around the wire... doesn't work quite as well on the Rally, though.

The Orange Peeler is a mistaken description on Victorinox' part; it's actually a cut-n-picker; it's meant for pill bottles; the sharpened inside curve is to slice through the plastic protection strip around the cap, while the hook itself is to extract the cotton from the interior of the pill bottle.

Lastly, do enjoy the MiniChamp; while it's large, for those that don't mind the size, it's a wonderful SAK.

Congrats mate! Although I feel a little gyped now... I got a minichamp in a couple of months ago WITHOUT the extra toothpick

. Seeing as how I go for one before tweezers, I would have liked that option rather then waiting for some spare change to order some toothpicks

Congrats on joining the Minichamp Mafia!

I keep a Midnite Mini on the desk next to the bed. If I have to navigate the house late at night, it keeps me from stepping on the dog.

And I occasionally carry "regular" Mini II (with the tweezers). Granted, I have had some minor competition from a Wenger PTC, but the Mini's almost always come out on top.

I got one about a month ago,really enjoy it,I keep it in my overnight bag as a backup,really like the orange peeler,and magnetic screwdriver with bottle cap opener.
