No Bob, we were not on motorcycle tour. We have to take an hour plane ride to Manila and travel for 6 hours by land to the City of San Fernando in province of La Union. We dropped by at Duckman’s (Donald) place and had sumptuous dinner there and few bottles of beer to quench out thirst.

View from the Provincial Capitol on top of a hill overlooking the port of the city of San Fernando. The body of water on the right is South China Sea.

The following day we proceeded to the city of Pines, Baguio City. It is a very cool place with an average elevation of 5,000 ft above sea level.

Looks beautiful but sadly Baguio City, is getting too over populated have problems with water shortages and garbage. But on the upside the City government, provincial government and national government are really making an effort to solve the problems.

More pics of Baguio City. Inside the beautiful mountain resort popularly known as Camp John Hay. This was formerly known as John Hay Air Station and was established in 1903 when President Theodore Roosevelt signed an executive order setting aside land in Benguet province for a military reservation under the United States Army. The reservation was named after Roosevelt's Secretary of State, John Milton Hay.

I didn't have the courage to walk through that medieval bridge.
