Thats why Wenger Gaint got 87 tools and 141 features while Victorinox XAVT got about 35 tools and 80 features.

J-Sews: what the the dimensions of the front sight tool? It is obvious that the flat, stubby end is a flat-bladed screwdriver for adjusting something. I might have some toys back home that this thing could be useful for.

What is REALLY expensive is the rear sight adjustment tool for the HK-9#/G3 series of weapons. (I.E.: HK-91/G3; HK-93/HK-33; HK-94/MP-5; HK-21 MG; PSG-1; SP-89/MP-5K). Basicly, a stubby Phillips screwdriver on one end, a spanner-type push wrench on the other. $85 is what I paid for it last summer for my HK-91...SHEESH!!! Probably cost $1US to make.

Now, if I win the lotto, I will look for a STG-90/SIG 550 for this tool to work on...LOL

I will invite the seller to join us. He sent me an e-mail, said he has a buddy in Switzerland who buys for him and ships them to him. Said the Swiss to Dollar rate or something is expensive. $60 is what I am paying for it, and that is no mark up.

Said his friend can get other shooting SAK's. Said they made one similar for the PE-57 assault rifle (in use from 1957-1990 era before the STG-90 was adopted). I will ask. He also said even though this is not marketed like the other more common ones, he said they made alot of them.

The previous poster who said "Wenger fills a niche market" must be correct in this case!!!

Yep and whats worse is someone who bought it might not appreciatre multitools and abuse it or lose it.

Yeah...but gunshows in Korea are as common as ocean front property in Arizona.....I can throw in the Golden Gate for free if you will join me at a gunshow in Korea.......NOT going to happen.

Not even 24 hours after I got back home to CONUS in July, I was at a gunshow and it was WONDERFUL to blow money at one!!!

I have roughly 320 days to DEROS and back in the world I will be.

Believe me, Korea sux if you like firearms. 100% banned for private ownership. SAK's, it is pretty good as some of you folks found out. Fixed blade knives, ew!!!

Seller sent me this e-mail when I told him it arrived:

" I am finding that non Swiss residents are not aware of the arsenal stamped Soldiers Knife variant. It would seem as though the Swiss are not impressed with it as they used them and then discarded them. My swiss contact has been able to find one in reasonably good condition after months of looking. I have another shooters knife comming, but they cost $60.oo by the time they get to my door. To an uninformed individual such as myself, that seems excessive.
