Blade Size - Soldier vs Pioneer, Farmer, etc
on: September 09, 2009, 02:06:23 AM
i just bought an 07 Soldier and it's great, but i can't seem to bring myself to use a discontinued knife.  So, i was wondering if the Soldier variants also have the larger-than-average blade that i like so much on the Soldier?  If they all have the larger blade I think i'll get a Pioneer or Farmer, which are still in production and I'd be more comfortable using.

Soldiers will readily available for sometime to come even if its discontinued.  I say use the crap out of it, and let Felinevet sort you another when you are ready.

EDC Depot has the alox soldiers for a VERY good price

https://edcdepot.com/merchantmanager/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=5&products_id=50

that's pretty decent, but with shipping it's about the same as the Amazon price, and from Amazon shipping is free.

nah, the justification is for others.  it is too late for me.

Yeah, but buying from Amazon doen't support MTO.

Marc, the owner of EDCDepot, supports MTO through advertising and helps out in other ways.  He has a great selection of EDC stuff for sale, has very competitive prices, and offers superb customer service.

Other things being equal, why not steer your business to an MTO advertiser?
