I just purchased a used ST300 off ebay with the intention of doing an acid wash on it. But when it arrived it was in better shape than I had anticipated.

There were a few minor rust spots on some of the tools. But they cleaned up pretty easily. So I will probably leave it alone.

I will say that after handling the ST300 for a while, it makes my Rebar feel so tiny!

More times than not, when I buy on Ebay the tool arrives in better shape than what it looks like in the pics :salute: That tool looks almost new :o :like:

I am sure that there will be tools tha arrive in worse shape than the pics occasionally too   I have received those as well  :D

Congrats on the ST300 as it is an awesome tool and yes, it does make the Rebar seem tiny :ahhh

The BO ST300 arrived last evening. At first glimpse, i wasn't that enthused, apparently i prefer aesthetics of stainless steel. Then I picked it up, checked out the pliers and liked the precision of the jaws. Flipped open the serrated knife and delicately touched the edge. The previous owner must have been a fanatic and deviant because instantly my finger developed a 1/2 inch cut and blood all over. I've decided to wait a couple days before introducing myself properly to the st300.
 :)

Very cool :tu: They had lots of great stuff :salute: I never bought anything from them but loved all their ideas

Apparently LM did as well  as they used several of them after forcing them out more or less
