I joined the club today.

An unused 2017-dated tool bought through a UK Leatherman Facebook group.

It’s a big, chunky beauty!

Great picture, Poncho; those Core OG pliers heads are so good-looking!
Do you happen to know if they would fit in a latter ST300 chassis/handles?

Crunchie, I also have a 2017 model, and that's the one called upon when heavy dutyness is needed! Also, IIRC, it is the last year for the 154cm cutters, as newer "premium" ones were/are 440hc (like the rest of the tool).

(If anyone knows if I'm incorrect, please correct me as to when the new ones were introduced.)  :tu:

The tools are 420 stainless instead of 440 I believe

Thanks Juan :hatsoff: I would think they would fit but I am not 100% sure  it is the same plier head as the first generation Surge as well :tu:

Supertool 300 bo saved the day today! Mother in law got trapped in her bedroom.

As I rushed out the door a crowbar, hammer and supertool were all I could grab quickly. Bit kit was in the car.

Problem solved and one old lady very happy. She had been stuck for 2 hours!

I'm thinking about biting the bullet and getting an M and an EOD, replace the scraper with the blade exchanger from the EOD and voilà, the most awesomer coolest of the coolest multi tools ...  :multi:
( )

Ooooh, congrats on your newest, Poncho!  :tu:

P-Dog:  was the above ST300 a limited offering from Leatherman and not a FrankenTool?  I have 2 brain cells that may remember it being offered, but I'm not sure about that.

Mine is a mod :D The 30th Anniversary ST300 looks very similar though :tu: There was also a dual color Micra that sold with it :like:

I would love to find one or both of those in great shape for a reasonable price someday :dd:
