:iagree: I actually have 2 of the Coyote Tan 300m now  I am thinking of getting another BO ST300 anf swapping the insides of it and one of the 300m because I don't have a full BO 300m

I actually found the 2nd one for around $100 and the BO was $130 :ahhh not sure why that was though :dunno:

Thanks Rich :hatsoff: this is totally one of my favorite collection pieces in my Supertool family collection because these cap crimper were not made very long at all before being replaces by the EOD model :salute:

While dining alone this evening, I had time to contemplate a few things:

1) This mushroom-spinach fetticcine alfredo with grilled chicken is delicious! My wife has really blossomed as a cook in the 21 years we have been together.

2) I love my modified ST 300M. Today, I used it to saw a 2x4, tighten some zipties, tighten a nut, pry open the cable entry of some single gang receptacle boxes (it is the junction box that wall outlets are attached to), and open this Heineken beer.

3) My good friend Poncho has gone on vacation and there is no one around to guard his MTs. I would never forgive myself if something was to happen to his prized possessions, so perhaps I should travel west and make sure nobody else tries to get them.

I'll have to find a partner in crime concerned forum member who lives over here. If your package to me is any indication of travel from Ireland to the US, you will arrive here worse for wear and too late to be of any help :D

Hey Everyone, It has been a while since I last posted in this thread. Hope everyone is doing well. This past week I was fortunate enough to come across a BO ST300 CC. It has date codes 0510 and 0610. It is in pretty used condition, but not too rough. It is perfect for me since I have been wanting one for my daily rotation and I won’t feel guilty using it. When I got it home, I disassembled, cleaned, and inspected all of the parts. The cutters were in pretty good shape so I just honed the back on a sharpening stone and reinstall them. I replaced the pivots all around since the were worn with lots of gaulling On the tool side, I replaced the straight and serrated blade due to the tip being broken and heavy chipping on the straight blade and the serrations being worn down due to improper sharpening. When I reassembled the tool side I installed a bit driver from a surge, removed the small and medium slotted drivers and moved the large slotted driver to the saw side next to the #2 Philips. Overall, I am happy to have this one ready for daily use. I also picked up some Leatherman flat bits and a BO bit extension. As a bonus, I was pleased to find that Leatherman upgraded the extension to have magnet retention instead of the lock ring. This will be perfect for holding Wiha bits.

Take care, JonesE
