I just got mine today, which I scored from a third-party Amazon dealer for $27.  I used to think, at one time, newer Leathermans were inferior to their pre-2004 counterparts, but I actually like the ST300 versus the original. Bigger blades, better locking system, better awl, and much stronger pliers with replaceable cutters.   As a bonus, mine just so happened to have the MOLLE Sheath, which is extremely well made, but to use it, I'll need some sort of adapter to use it on a belt, or the pistol belt I'll be buying from the Army Navy store soon.

Wow good score for $27! Glad you like it.  I've been really impressed with mine over the years.  Once they get broken in you can "butterfly" them open  :multi:

Just sent mine off for repair...broke the smallest screwdriver head on a particularly nasty little rusted out number. Sad to be without my baby but it will only be for a short while :)

I recently did the same thing to mine.  Been putting off sending it in because I use it everyday and hate to be without it.  Trying decide on which of my other LMs to sub in while its gone.  Torn between the Rebar or the OHT.  Glad to hear they took care of you.
Yeah it was super nice. I also got an OHT at Christmas and I absolutely love it. I usually swap between the ST300 and the OHT at work depending on my mood...both are good heavy duty mt's that get lots of use

My going to church etc EDC ST300. My surge is normally covered in drywall, dirt, sawdust, oil.. you get the idea. So I keep this one  cleaner, kinda, not really, but it does the job. Glad I finally bit the bullet and bought a Real Leatherman.

$29.99...... Dear lord. Even if that's US compared to AU. It's ludicrous. I'll keep dreaming

That's about $50 off the regular price.  I've never seen that.  However, I did buy 2 Super Tool 300s for $39.95 each plus tax, on clearance, once.  Then I sold the extra tool for $60 which means the one I kept cost me just under $25.00.  This happened before I joined multitool.org and came to the realization that there's no such thing as an extra tool.

I've never seen any leatherman on sale. Best price on eBay au for a st 300 is around $112. Around $140 for black. And if you are an idiot they go for $240 on leatherman au website....

Well, I thought I was going to join the club today but  instead of a BO CC Supertool 300 in the mail I got a boker knife that I didn't buy. The E-bay seller mixed up the two items.

Good news !  I'm sending the knife back and the guy who got my ST is returning it to the seller as well. The seller reimbursed me $10 to make up for the screw up. So looks like it will get here eventually.   :tu:

Welcome to the world of posting on MTO :tu: Also welcome to the ST300 club :tu:

The 300 just means that it is the 3rd iteration of the Supertool (the Core was actually 3rd but since it wasn't named Supertool it didn't get counted in the lineup) There was the original Supertool the Supertool 200 the Core then the Supertool 300 :2tu:
