Is that the Pin stripe Spartan or Tinker?  Either way, I've seen a couple in person, and IMO, they did nothing for me.  In fact, the scales remind me of emery boards, frankly.  But for something interesting and not typically seen, jump on it, lol.

I like the look of the blue one but, TBH, the Spartan is far from my favourite SAK and I don't think you can buy the scales on their own yet. :-\

Its interesting that this image shows the old style keyring tab on the spacer. Its still used on the 84mm line, but the site describes it as 91mm

Well spotted, I hadn't noticed that.  The pic of the blue one shows the keyring on the opener layer like you you expect though.

Oh and welcome to the forum. :tu:

Yeah, it looks like they used a photo of the Tourist to photoshop the scales. I could be wrong but that's how the knife looks proportioned to me. Anyway, in my experience you can usually get the scales to reseat like new on another SAK if you are removing them from a new knife and it's the first time. I'm on board with saying the Spartan isn't particularly my favorite SAK and it would be pushing it to get me to pay upwards of $20 to acquire a set of scales. Maybe Rotokid can get them ordered with time.
