what's your next sak?
on: September 10, 2009, 08:31:40 PM
I'm been drooling over a cybertool lite for awhile now.
I think it would be a good compliment to my swisschamp.
I really like the idea of the led light. So that will probably
be my next sak. What will be your next sak?

Welcome to the forum.  Mine will probably be a spartan, as for some reason I still don't have one of those.

Isn't that an Electrician Plus?

Not sure what my next SAK will be.  I've got a mod in mind and I have my eye on a Vic Forester.

BTW, welcome to the forum sakfan. :)

Probably another Fieldmaster. I've abused the scissors on mine and now they barely cut. Of course I could try and fix them but that wouldn't get me a new Swiss Army Knife now would it?

I've been wanting an Electrician Plus also.  That knife along with the Harvester I think are better camp/outdoors tools than the world famous Farmer..I don't know why they aren't more popular

Personally I'd still prefer a can opener on an outdoors/camping SAK, even if I do have both P-38s and P-51s. XD

Definitely a Farmer for me. Can opener comes in handy if you only carry one thing. And I'm not a fan of the weird shaped blades. Give me a normal blade, saw, awl, and a can opener and I might just make it out of the bush to use the bottle opener :drink:

And welcome to forum dude

Asking Vic to fix them might though...  ;)

I can understand preferring to buy a new one too though.

Is it just a matter of dullness or are they actually damaged?

It will probably be a while before I can purchase one, but the next SAKs I am hoping to get are a Pioneer and SuperTinker.

I have been carrying a Cadet for quite a while now. I'd like to try something a little beefier next, hence the Pioneer. I have also started to appreciate how handy reamers can be.

On the other hand, I also miss having scissors and so I also want to give a SuperTinker a try for a while.

I will really miss the nail file on the Cadet though. There's always a trade off...   ;)
