Mainly the cost , but also the way the Ti slabs moved about . I'm not a fan of gut hooks either .If I was to get another it would have to be an early Ti withough gut hook .

Now that you have the Wave, you should be able to see again that the slide-out lanyard ring is really bent/curved by design...  :D

On my Wave, it is more difficult to get the lanyard ring out (tighter) than on my Charge.

I use that little lanyard ring for about two weeks then Benner sent me a detachable one and I havn't looked back since .It works so well by threading it through the bottom of the sheath .
