Other modules?

1.  Universal TV remote module

2.  Radar detector module

3.  Cell phone module

4.  Satellite emergency beacon module

5.  PEZ dispenser module

6.  Salt and Pepper shaker module

and

Other modules that I could think of? A rescue blade module, a choice of blade edges, and steels,an adjustable jaws wrench module,a wood saw,and a metal saw/file all would nice for starters. And for some us....... a spork module :D

the perfect hobo knife :D

Blairs Ultimate Death Sauce - Like it! Jalapenó Death sauce for beginners  ;)

I´d love to see a wrench module, a saw/file module, a pen/pencil module...
Maybe a spy capsule/pill box module with additional tools like nail file/nail cleaner might be nice too.

So what other modules would we like to see them produce?  Does the screwdriver module take stubby bits like the Get Away Driver or does it use standard ones?

I was actually very disappointed in the screwdriver module. I would rather have 1 module that does 1 core function very well. As it is, neither the flashlight nor the screwdriver stand out over other options.

I would love to see a nice little driver with a decent reach and a reasonable amount of bits someday. I have seen some things that come fairly close, but no one has really done the concept justice yet.

How about Blair's Ultra Death or 16 million reserve?

You guys know more than me but I think the Flux looks very cool. More importantly, this thread cracks me up. The Ultimate Hobo Knife. LOL. You need to forward that to marketing.

Put a PEZ dispenser on a multitool and if it is not too expensive I would get one.

Agreed, if they do this I'd get 5 modules to put different types of candy and EDC THEM ALL. :D

Did you ask for prices? IIRC the gentleman told me @$45 for the Flux w/two "regular" modules (not sure which ones those were) and @$25 for sets of two modules. I think it's an excellent concept and a real interesting development in our little sector but it's a little big for what it does. I'd really like to see Victorinox take on the idea.   :P

Any more news about the Flux yet?

The same modules that were listed at the beginning of this thread should be the ones available for the official release. Any new modules will come as CRKT comes up with new ideas :wait:

The Flex has been pushed back until next year.  I just found out that myself a few days ago.

Yea I heard the same thing, got this from Rod:

"We just finalized packaging and looks like since we’ve are really going to miss this year’s holiday season that we will launch in January with the rest of our new models."

Sucks but I would rather them take the time to get it right rather than rush the baby out the front door.
