Wenger Ranger scales removal - any tricks?

Provided this is possible at all, how does one set about removing a scale from New Rager (mine's camo finish non-one-handed model)? I'd like to add a clip to it, 'cause it keeps falling out of lighter pockets, and feels like a log in the main trouser pocket.
Are Wenger scales as easy to remove and replace as Victorinox or are there special tricks? Any experience to share?
