sounds like the mini is the perfect uk carry.

I like the idea of removing the knife, less weight and if you have a sak you are covered.

I can put anything in there if I just use a friction fit.  If I make use of the lock it's got to be none sharp and none pointy.

I was initially leaning to leaving that bit off altogether and having a neat pair of folding pliers but then everyone got  :pok: about forks and stuff :D

Well I did know what I was going to do with it and then everyone started discussing stuff and I became less certain of my original plan  ???

At present I'm going to wait until one I traded from Zack arrives as I may need its bits as well.  Whatever I finally do I'll make sure to take pics :)

Wouldn't that class as modification of an OH and thus still be illegal in the eyes of the law over there  ???

Somekind of mod on the original blade would be illegal, but with another blade added I'm not sure...

I know over here with the whole lock issue, its very much a matter of the functional state of the knife as it is now rather than its past configuration. But I was under the impression your laws regarding OH opening were less clear cut  :-\

I'm allowed to carry a locking knife if it's for work, hunting, fishing ect.ect. But I'm in doubt if there could be any legal issues with a modded Freestyle...?
But if you take a look at these links, OH MT's are put up for sale here in Denmark..: Click & Click.

It's a crazy world..  ;)

An admittedly quick once over of the drivers I have compared to liners, spacing etc. makes that look pretty tricky.  I may still add a file or I may just pull off the extra bits and fit some nice scales.  It certainly can't be put back together now as I've got shot of the blade :)

That is certainly another option.  I can't think of anywhere in the UK you can buy little bars like that though, which would make things easier.   Not sure I'm up to cutting a notch and putting a bevel on a bit of steel :P

Nope, I've decided what I'm doing with it.  But along with all my other modding jobs it'll have to wait until January.

January should be good :D
