Great Wave/Charge review

Just came across this (which I'm sure some of you have already seen) and thought it was a really useful comprehensively written review.

http://www.equipped.org/lm_charge-wave.htm

I learnt at least one useful thing - my Ti has a hidden built in lanyard ring - who knew!  :D

Yeah I've seen that one before, but it is a good (and I think very early) review.

I think it was Dunc who said he had the same problem with the lock release, something that never troubled me, but may be due to the size of your hands I guess.

Nice find :tu:

I used to come here a lot.

Yes it is a great review and when I first got into multitools and when multitool.org was just a twinkle in Grants eye and before I even new him I spent loads of time on Equipped to survive . Their Swisstool review was pretty good too .

As for the comment about the Wave/Charge locks becoming depressed during use  During my long term test with my current EDC ( Wave) I have ecounted it about 3 times and although it feels a little unnerving while you are pushing down on a screw the lock has yet to be depressed far enough for it to become disengaged .I really do rate the Wave , its not perfect but you could do an awfull lot worse .I'm even starting to like the bit changer  :o Although the mini bit changer should be replaced with an awl imo  ;)
