Classic-SD with Gold Mother Of Pearl Scales

I don't know if these scales are Factory or not.  Since it's a Classic-SD I would think I'd beable to find something on it if they were factory scales.  There are also slight imperfections in the scales/mounting so that also makes me think they may not be factory.

I got Bijou with those scales:

It is mother of pearl imitation - it plastic or something.

i just saw an old bijou with mother pearl scales, with the old style nail file, i didnt like the mounting of the scales, looked a little bit cheap with glue all aroud the edges of the linner

Very Interesting, thanks for posting that one.  Your scales do look a little different, but I believe mine could be imitation GMOP since they seem to have high uniformity in the pattern.  It does not look like other imitation MOP that I've seen though.

I used to have one the same.  I was never convinced it was real MoP   Wasn't my cup of tea and I sold it on.  Sorry, I don't know if it was a Vic. release or an after market modification.

I still have a Classic with scales that look just like this..

.. mine is certainly imitation.

The only two Vics. I have with real MoP scales are an Executive and a Champion.
