I wouldn't worry about it too much. If the light gets really warm in turbo, then don't use it as much. Fenix tends to be well within the LED durability limits on their specs.I look at it this way... That LED will run for nearly 10 years straight at recommended power levels (which includes turbo mode). Are you going to ever run that light enough to add up to 10 years of use? I doubt it, because there will be something better come along that you want. Running it in turbo may shorten the lifespan somewhat, but I doubt you're ever going to see any effects from it.
Very nice. While I could do without the SOS mode, I really like the way Fenix set up the user interface on these for the 6 different modes. The modes I use most often (low, turbo) are quickly accessible without complication. I do wish the low mode were much dimmer though--it's too much for dark-adjusted eyes at close to range.
