There's a coupla versions of it, but mine has a Bergen tool set built into it which contains all sorts of minature tools (screwdrivers, levers, blunt pushing tools) which I assume are for working inside delicate watches.

Very handy for replacing watch batteries.

Fairly unique too.

I'm wanting to get in to watch repair and this looks interesting. But will it be useful or would money be better spent on dedicated tools? Also I'm looking at this model.

http://www.swiss-knife.com/asp/detail.asp?qty=1&lan=EN&id=1.551.046.702&shop=SK&fromPage=detail&code=1.551.046.702&te=1,2,3&options=&optionsLang=&optionsName=%20

I don't want one that has plastic scales as I'll lose interest in it as soon as the scales are scratched up.

Can't see the picture, but I assume that's the coffin case scales?

The microtools come out of the SAK body for use (Wenger does this for a wrench on the Large Mountain Bike SAK too).

The tools are standard watchmaker's tools, made by Bergen

I was going to buy it off there as I don't do Ebay. Half price is tempting.

After looking around I realise the Minathor I want may be illegal. http://www.timedesign.de/marken/tools_e.html "NOTE: For legal terms (Endangered Species Act) shipment of MINATHOR 700 + 702 only within the EU" Does this mean its illegal in the USA?
