Good deal on Micra's

The wife wanted to go to the local K-Mart this mourning,so I tagged along,got to the knife section,and all the leathermans were gone,except the Micra's,and they was marked at $9 each,had two stainless,and two red ones,so got one of each,the only difference from my original was no USA stamped on them,but thought they would make nice gifts.

There still is a K-Mart not far from where I live too.  I was in there a month or so ago and they had a few Wenger SAK's, the Climber and something else and a bunch of Micra's in different colors.  The SAK's and the Micra's were marked down but not that cheap.  I may have to check it out.  Thanks for the heads up.

Update:  After I read your post I decided to take a ride and see if my local K-Mart had any in stock.  They had at least 15 or more in stock.  The price tag on the packages were as I had remembered from before.  Originally, $22.69 on sale for $15.  $15 is pretty much the going rate for a Micra so I didn't think it was that great a deal when I saw it the first time.  But I grabbed two, a standard stainless steel one and a blue one and took them to the counter for a price check.  Sure enough, just as you said, they were $9!  Great find and thanks again for the heads up.

I have one not too far away.  I rarely go in there but when I do, I'm always amazed it's still in business.  There were other K-Marts in my area but they closed a several years ago.  The one that is open is really run down inside.  I went there a couple months back and you couldn't hear the musak over the sound of the HVAC system.    There are Super Targets and Super Wal-Marts in the area I don't know how they compete.  But I'm glad they are still open, they had the $9 Micra's and plenty of them.  I don't think anyone shops for that stuff there.  I was in Target yesterday and they had Micra's for $18.88.  I may have to go back and get a couple more.

My kmart has about 12 Micras, and the Kicks were on sale for 15.00 they had about 6 of those.

My sister in-law bought her father in-law a LM Kick that she got from Coles(aussie supermarket) for around $50aus . That was a couple of years ago & that Kick was the first LM I had handled. When my wife saw how impressed I was she got me a Surge for my next birthday & here I am  .
I have not seen any LM's for sale outside of small specialty shops

Only seen LM's at military surplus stores and BCF...thats if you want to buy a Charge for 400 dollars *thud*
