Send some prayers out for Bo.
on: November 14, 2009, 02:25:46 AM
My neighbors dog Bo was following another neighborhood boy to the park today and was struck by a car. The boy had a cell phone and called my stepson. My wife and I sat with Bo until my Neighbor arrived. His back leg may be broken and he had lots of cuts and scrapes but he seemed in good spirits considering.  The boy said that the truck that hit him looked like it sped up and hit him on purpose. Then it just took off and didn't even stop. What kind of person hits a dog that's walking with a 12 year old boy and doesn't even stop. I know he not my dog but he spends allot of time hanging out in my yard and sleeping on my back porch. I really like the little guy. My neighbor took him home and said he would see what he could do for him. I hope the best for him. Here is a pic I have of him.

Plenty of sub humans out there.

Hope he pulls through with a full recovery, and that the vet bill won't be that expensive.

I have to agree with you Chako. It really makes you hate people sometimes when things like this happen.

I think it should be an eye for an eye in animal abuse cases.  If you find the driver of the truck, run him over and see how he likes it.

Otherwise, my best wishes to Bo.  I hope he manages to bounce back and that there's no serious harm done, like damage to his hip.

It's funny- tonight as I was coming home from work there was a buck trying to cross the highway in front of me.  I slowed down as he crossed in front of me, then stopped when he got to the concrete divider, turned and ran back across in front of me again.  I pulled over and called the police in hopes of getting animal control over there to help him find a safer place to play.  I'd hate to hit an animal by accident, and hitting one on purpose is unthinkable to me.

Poor fella... hope he gets back up on his furry paws soon :)

I totally agree with the like for like treatment - animal abusers should have to face the same treatment they dish out.
