The Farmer IS a great knife! However, I don't think I can live with just 3 layers. Layers are addictive. If I have an n-layer knife, I'm always thinking that adding just one more layer with that extra tool will make it even better. The next thing I know, I'm waking up in the morning with XLT Oh dear....is this an addiction?? radioz

The Scientist is cool, but I'm not sure it can travel alone.
Real men carry a FOUR LAYER EXPLORER!
The solo was a flop for edc, you guys were right. I'm back to my trusty Pioneer and I'm staying with it this time.
Quote from: Freudian Frog on October 25, 2009, 06:56:45 AMReal men carry a FOUR LAYER EXPLORER! I would call B.S. and cry Yeoman!! ...if it weren't for the awl.... The only problem with the Explorer is the lack of a saw--so now we're talking about the 5 layer Woodsman.
I can skip on the saw, myself, especially since the Spirit X on my belt and the Ranger in my bag both have saws.
