888 Professional knives very interesting
on: October 21, 2009, 04:30:44 PM
I was looking around on the net the other day and came across a company called 888 Professional and they make a very interesting blade. With three different designs the one that grabs me is the coptool, it's alot like the Wilson or Boker coptool but much more compact. I am really thinking about picking up one of these, would make a good backup blade or a small pockcet knife for EDC. You can find a video review for it on youtube, looks to be really nice and the balisong type opening seems to be real secure and is reliable. What you guys think? Cool or not cool?

Saw it on edcdepot a while ago. Cool but can't say useful, don't really see how it's better than just a regular folding mechanism. The hook is interesting thou being double ground, first time I've see it.

I agree, it has a different opening method but it isn't even a one-hand opening tool.  I really can not see it being good for hard use.  It also looks a little small for a rescue tool.
