Hi guys is anyone in pogo stick distance of the Midlands maybe I could share traveling costs

John, we're currently thrashing out the exact location details, but I'd say there's a good chance this will happen in the midlands.

We hope to publish a firm date and venue very soon now

Midlands would be great for me, I think it's about time I meet some of you lot.  I'm going to wait for an announcement over the date but the sooner you decide the better as I can fiddle the rotas to get a day off.

I would favour the latter date at the end of may... Hedgekid might be able to come with me then as she's having surgery at the end of April 

Also, it will be warmer at the end of May  (in theory)

It's a bank holiday weekend too which gives a lot of you employed folk some leeway over time hopefully.

So, any major objections to that one or can we get it settled? I need some boy time please

I think the only possible issue with having it the may holiday weekend is that we're almost certainly camping and want a touch of piece and quite, not going to be quite so easy on a bank holiday weekend.

Bank holiday weekend is a real bad idea IMO.  It'll be very busy and having a load of sharps with us could end up getting us into a lot of grief.

Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd May, and I'll be confirming the venue within the next couple of days. It will be a campsite allowing pyromania fires, and it will be in the Midlands. I'll keep you all posted, but a confirmed number of people attending would be appreciated as it might affect the site / booking
