Battery help needed
on: October 08, 2009, 11:57:24 AM
I've recently acquired a ST signature lite from Tim. (yay!) Unfortunately, when I tried to shop around for spare batteries (CR1025), I found out there were none to be found. Yes, eBay has them, but nobody will ship Lithium batteries abroad, for some reason. I suspect dealextreme and the like might be more flexible, but I wouldn't use their stuff to power my pacemaker, if you know what I mean. Any suggestions?

I'd go with DX mate - after all, it's not your pacemaker!

I've had button cells from them which are fine so as long as you don't mind a potential wait for them to arrive, I'd order from them  :tu:

Rodion,  CR1025 is a common calculator battery,  anyone who sells calcs overthere should be able to get them.  If not then DX is your best bet , but like Nuphoria said long delivery times from them.  Good luck.

I'd appreciate that. I don't need many, however much 10-15 bucks buys me.

Yeah, unfortunately even DX doesn't have that kind. It's like they're Martian or something.

P.S. Swiss, actually.

I assume they're Chinese made? Can't think of another reason the cost would be so low. Well, I can certainly live with ten. PM me your Paypal and the final charge if you have nothing better to do.  :P

P.S. Again, I'm talking about CR 1025. These are tiny button cells that would fit into a Vic Classic.

Yep, that's the one. Although Panasonic is recommended, I doubt the LED scans for a name tag prior to activation...

Hey, it's my money you're (thinking about) spending. Go nuts. (within the 10 £ cap) :tu:

I only need a couple for spares anyway.

You know, I bet there's money in forwarding items to people in other countries. Wonder if anyone else thought of that...
